Tatopani Checkpoint Fully Open [Merchants Happy]
Tatopani border checkpoint has been re-opened on Monday after the Lhosar holiday, the great festival of the Tamang caste. According to the Tatopani Customs Office, goods can now be imported through the Tatopani checkpoint as per the demand of the Businessmen.
Chief of the Tatopani Customs Office Lal Bahadur Khatri said that eight containers carrying goods of Nepalese businessmen have been coming from the checkpoint since Monday. Khatri informed that the quota of containers entering Nepal has also been removed with the opening of the Tatopani checkpoint.
Stating that the Chinese side has requested to import goods through the border checkpoint safely, he urged the Nepali businessmen to resume trade.
